Puerto Cortes, where we dock with our cruise to Honduras, is situated in the Bay of Omoa on the Caribbean. The port area is famous for its palm trees, crystal-clear sea and white beaches, among which La Tela is the most famous.
Having arrived in Honduras aboard our cruise, we relax on Tabyana Beach, wonderful corals that we conquer. We dock at the islands of Roatan and Coxene Hole, once a refuge of pirates and today an ideal destination for nature lovers, divers, ecological tourism and water sports. Tegucigalpa, founded in the mid-1500s by Spanish colonists as a silver and gold mining center whose land was rich, is almost 3281 miles above sea level and is the capital of Honduras.
