Nobeoka is a city located in the north of Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. In modern times, Nobeoka City takes pride in being Eastern Kyushu’s number one industrial city. Your first visit will be Nobeoka Castle Ruins, which was built in 1603. There is a bell house in the castle tower ruin, the bell is tolled to tell the time still now. There is a stone wall that 1000 enemies could be killed at once when one of the stones is removed off and the wall is fell down, it is called "1000people killer stone wall". The Castle Ruins is in Shiroyama Park, please enjoy the atmosphere of Japan in the park. Next stop will be Atagoyama observatory. Atagoyama is a peninsula protruding in the sea from ancient times because it has many shell mounds in the surrounding Okita, Katada etc. It was originally called Cape Kae Cape or Kasasama.There is a legend that Ninigi Nomikoto and Konohana Sakuyahime meet in front of Kasae and got married, and children born between the two have Yukihiko Oki and Yukihiko Yama. A monument named after the myth is set up and popular as a date spot. After that we will go to the Local restaurant for having lunch.Then we will move back to the port.
