  • Walk through the old town, piazza Italia
  • Archaeological Museum, Underwater Archaeology Section, Riace Bronzes
  • Bergamot Museum

What we will do
  • The coach will drive us to the Falcomatà promenade, so unmissable that it has been named "the most beautiful kilometre in Italy", where we can take beautiful photos of the views.
  • Then we will see the Roman Baths, currently undergoing modernisation, and the cathedral dedicated to Maria Santissima Assunta.
  • After visiting the cathedral, we will take a stroll through the old town and glimpse some of the main points of interest such as Vittorio Emanuele II square (better known as piazza Italia), before heading to the town's Archaeological Museum, one of the most important in Italy thanks to its evidence of Magna Graecia. Inside the museum, an underwater archaeology section has been set up where it is possible to admire the extremely famous bronzes found in the waters just off Riace beach.
  • When we leave the Archaeological Museum, we will walk to the Bergamot Museum which showcases the history and uses of this unique and typically Calabrian citrus tree, the only natural product capable of fixing the aromatic bouquet of scents. After the tour, we can also try it to discover its utterly unique flavour!
  • Afterwards, we will have a little bit of free time for some shopping before taking the coach back to the port.
