Description

We immerse ourselves in an underwater world in one of Europe's most important aquariums, an unmissable attraction located at the Old Port - an area of the city that we can also admire from the sea thanks to the boat tour included in our excursion.

What we will see
  • Genoa Aquarium
  • Old Port
  • Cotton warehouses
  • Bigo

What we will do
  • After a short boat ride, we reach the exhibition area where Genoa Aquarium lies, one of the foremost aquariums in Europe. Immersing ourselves in the vast, multi-coloured underwater environment, we discover tropical fish in thousands of colours, sponges and jellyfish, natural coral, stony-eyed sharks and even friendly dolphins, seals and penguins. Genuinely a unique and unforgettable "journey through the world's seas".
  • Then we will take advantage of some free time to roam around the Old Port. Strolling between the old cotton warehouses, which have been converted into shops, bars and restaurants, we can admire the Bigo, the original structure designed by well-known architect Renzo Piano, which, along with the Lanterna - the city's lighthouse - is firmly fixed in the hearts of the people of Genoa as one of the most symbolic icons of the ancient city labelled "la Superba".
  • After the visit, we will board our boat to admire Genoa and its vibrant port from a privileged perspective.

What you need to know
  • The excursion is reserved for guests who are not leaving the ship at Genoa.
