What we will do

  • A walk rich in experiences in La Spezia accompanied by your local guide who will amaze you and help you to discover the typical flavors, hidden treasures and history of the Italian navy and art unknown by many. 
  • Our visit will start with a walking orientation of the pedestrian district. Your guide will lead you towards Via Cavour, one of the main streets in La Spezia. Immediately you will be hit by the beauty and elegance of the buildings dating back to the XIX century and also of the white and black facades belonging to the Saint Mary Assumption Church. Finalized in 1954, hosting a beautiful terracotta polychrome “the coronation of the virgin” of Andrea della Robbia and “The torturing of San Bartolomeo” of Luca Cambiaso. 
  • After that, we will visit a typical little resturant to enjoy a tasting of the famous 'Farinata' with a nice glace of white wine from Liguria. A stop ast the Museo del Sigillo will grant you an overviwe over the local history, a private collection hosting Ancient Seals coming from all over the world, something abosultely unique in town. 
  • Enjoy the opportunity to admire the beautiful city of La Spezia from the top of the terrace of San Giorgio's Castle, built in the XIIIth century for defend the city. A visit of the most interesting rooms will be included as well, the Castle was built over the remains of a prexisting Medieval Fort, todays home to the Ubaldo Formentini Museum of Civil Archeology is a real trip through the local history from prehistory to the Middle Age. , this Museum has one of the largest collections of ancient Roman articrafts. 
  • This tour is a mix of history, art, modern life and a little 'farinata' taste! at the end of the tour your guide will lead you back to the pier or, if you prefer, you can choose to stay more time in the city centre.
