What we will do

We will leave the port of Benoa behind us and immerse ourselves in the tropical paradise that is Bali Orchid Garden, where we can walk immersed in nature's charm, admiring thousands of orchids, plants with lush greenery and a host of multi-coloured flowers.

Then we will visit a traditional Balinese residential complex where we will have the chance to admire an original house comprising three sections, each with one or more different buildings with a specific function – quite a rare kind of residence in modern-day Bali. Inside the house, we will also find a small domestic temple, where we can observe the rituals and offerings made daily.

We will continue our tour to the village of Peliatan, famous for its artistic vocation. We will visit an art gallery there, which is home to a vast collection of paintings, both traditional and modern, contemporary pieces.

The last stage of our excursion will take us to the village of Celuk, historically home to skilled jewellers experienced in the art of working with gold and silver. The streets are dotted with a series of workshops of different sizes where we can admire the Chinese artisans at work.

For a lovely end to our excursion, we will have time for a light snack and a tea or coffee before returning to Benoa and our ship.
