Description

Welcome to the half-day tour of Miyakojima. This tour covers the most picturesque spots. Our first stop is the three-storey Ryugujo Observatory on a hill on the island of Kurima. It was designed to resemble the Dragon’s Palace. According to Japanese folklore, the Dragon’s Palace was regarded as The Sea God‘s palace at the bottom of the sea. It has stunning scenery such as Maehama Beach in front of it, and Irabujima and Kurima Bridge to the left and right. We can admire the sea stretching out below, and the stunning gradation in which the sand and coral roots weave. Before returning to the port, we will visit Yonaha-Maehama Beach which is 7 kilometres long on the isolated island of Miyako, and it is visited by a considerable number of tourists from Japan and abroad. The landscape is overwhelmingly beautiful, and thanks to the combination of the white sandy beach and emerald green it is lauded as the best beach in East Asia.
