Description

Firstly, we drive to Obi Castle Remains, that are composed of 57,000 stones were part the Obi Domain. The mossy stone walls, the wide stones steps of the front castle gate, moat remains and samurai residences will take you back to ancient times. Next, Aoshima Island, a small, beautiful island just off of the coast of the resort beaches south of Miyazaki City.  At the center of the island is Aoshima Jinja, a colorful shrine set back in the jungle that is said to bring luck to married couples. The shallow water around the island has a geological phenomenon known as Oni no Sentakuita, or devil's washboard. Visible at low tide, these perfectly straight rows of basalt rock look like remnants of something manmade. After that we go to local restaurant and have a lunch. Lastly, we will have a shopping time and we go back to the port.
