Description Discovering a country’s culinary traditions is fundamental if we want to find out more about a culture, and the best way to do that is to learn how to make local dishes with our own hands. A fun and unique experience with a traditional end in one of the city’s main markets.

What we will see
  • Cooking the tasty Bibimbap
  • Visit to Jagalchi Fish Market

What we will do
  • We will prepare one of South Korea’s typical dishes: Bibimbap. Its name, meaning 'mixed rice', gives us a clue as to what is involved: it is a mixture of rice, vegetables, egg and sometimes meat, all seasoned to taste with soy and chilli. It is a spicy, colourful dish, perfect to enjoy with company and cook again when we are back at home.
  • After our culinary experience, we will discover one of the most distinctive places in Busan, Jagalchi Fish Market, which is the biggest in South Korea and where the majority of traders are women. We will walk among the colourful stalls with their strong scents and simple wooden crates placed on the ground selling mackerel, octopus and whale steaks.
