An occasion to admire the pearl of the Riviera di Levante: the magical village of Portofino.

What we will do
  • From Riviera di Ponente (Coast of the Setting Sun), we will take the motorway to Levante, to arrive at the characteristic Gulf of Tigullio.
  • From the Harbour of*Santa Margherita*, an internationally renown tourist centre, we will head, by boat, to Portofino.
  • Portofino is an ancient seaside village, located in a deep cove protected from the wind and accessible from all seas, which has been a port since ancient times when it was named "Portus Delphini". Passing through the small roadways of this magical village, it is possible to see the dense residential area, with the tall and narrow houses with pastel coloured façades. We will continue right up to the Church of S. Giorgio to admire the scenery, take photos from the harbour brimming with boats and yachts or taste an ice-cream whilst sat comfortably at a table in one of the bars with their outdoor areas overlooking the sea, the liveliness of the shops and restaurants, must-experience places during any season.

What you need to know
  • In the event of adverse weather conditions the journey from Santa Margherita Ligure to Portofino will take place using modes of transport authorised by local authorities.
  • The transfer to the Gulf of Tigullio takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The excursion is reserved for guests who do not disembark at Savona.
