Description

Your excursion begins with a drive through the Capital City of Roseau to the Botanical Gardens, where you will experience an amazing propagation of plants with species of exotic and indigenous trees and shrubs. The gardens also give shelter to Dominica's National Bird, the Sisserou and Jaco Parrots. Your tour bus will continue up the Roseau valley to Wotton Waven. On your arrival there, your guide will take you for a walk through the rainforest to Wotton Waven Sulphur Springs. This spring emanates from the ground in a spectacular bubbling motion, spewing volcanic hot water in a circular area of about fifty feet. After your visit to the Sulphur Springs you will stop at the Papillotte Hotel for a taste of our local fruit juices and Rum Punch. Your Tour is then followed by a visit to one of the Caribbean's most extraordinary and prestigious sites: the Trafalgar Falls. The sounds of some of the world's rarest and most unique birds will entice you as you take a guided walk on a trial through the forest, only to be greeted in the end by a spectacular view of the beautiful falls. Allow the memory of this unique experience to sink in as you take a relaxing ride back to your ship berthed in the capital.
