What we will do
  • The old part of*San Juan*, the country's most important tourism and cultural centre, marks the first stage of our visit. We will take a walk in the historic centre, characterised by narrows pave roads and varied coloured colonial buildings, where all good parts of the centre are still surrounded and protected by walls erected by Conquistadores which already served to protect the city in the 16th Century, just as is the case with numerous defensive structures and fortresses.
  • Our next destination will be*San Cristóbal*, a large fortress which protects the entrance to the port of San Juan, which has been awarded the title, UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have some free time to take a stroll and explore the surroundings.
  • Once back on-board the coach, we can admire the picturesque buildings of the old city, with their typical appearance which serves as testimony to the Spanish colonial period, the Porto Rico theatre, the Alejandro Tapia Theatre, and the island's first casino which is no longer operational).
  • We will then continue onto the area known as Condado, which is populated with luxurious holiday hotels and casinos.
