Description

A unique occasion to learn about the everyday life of huasos, typical Chilean cowboys in a traditional Patagonian farm. Let us learn how to shear the sheep and share with them an excellent asado with a good glass of wine. A day dedicated to simple life.

What we will see

• Chilean farm • Tour of the farm, sheep shearing, shepherd dogs • Patagonian asado, Chilean wine

What we will do

• We reach a typical Chilean farm and meet the Gauchos, very similar to the Argentinian people that work in cow and sheep farms in the south of Argentina. • Our tour starts in the morning with a visit to the farm and continues with a demonstration of sheep shearing (operation known as esquila). We also get the chance to observe the diligent shepherd dogs at work with a sheep flock. • After the tour and demonstrations, we relax while enjoying a Patagonian asado, the typical lamb-based mixed grill of this area, served with excellent Chilean wine.

What you need to know
