What we will do

We set off by coach towards the Garibaldi Pass located 450 metres above sea level. The peculiarity of this place, which is much lower compared to other passes we are used to, is its position, as it is the southernmost pass in the world. It enables us to cross the Andes which run across the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego from east to west (unlike the rest of the mountain range) from the border with Chile to the Atlantic Ocean and that, in this area, reach a height of around 1,500 metres. Lake Escondido is located nearby, surrounded by woods and mountains. The colour of its waters varies according to the time of day and the light of the sun. We start out descent towards the banks of the lake, where we stop to take in the enchanting views. After our excursion, we head back to the coach which will take us to Ushuaia.
