HUIS TEN BOSCH without lunch
Sightseeing, Entertainment, Lunch not included
Huis ten Bosch, the Dutch-themed resort park, lies along the coast of Omura Bay, southeast of Sasebo City, and is a large-scale theme park modeled on a 17th century Dutch Village. With tens of thousands of trees and enormous flowerbeds, the streets are lined with varied restaurants, theatres, art galleries and museums, entertainment facilities, hotels and villas. As Sasebo's most famous tourist attraction, it is definitely worth a look. The Netherlands was one of the three foreign nations that had diplomatic ties with Japan when Japan shut off from the world from 1639 to 1854. Nagasaki was the only place open to the foreign nations and developed close ties with them.
