You will visit the two of popular spots in Nagasaki. Your tour will start with a visit to the famous Peace Park, which was been constructed in 1949 as an appeal for the abolition of nuclear weapons. The Bronze Statue of Peace, the Fountain of Peace park and monuments from various nations throughout the park commemorate the dead and impress the visitor with the importance of lasting peace. Net stop will be the Glover Garden, where some former homes of the city's pioneering Meiji period European residents have been restored. Before drive back to the port, you will drive to the Hamanomachi arcade which is local shopping district.
What you need to know
Please note: Due to the long walk in the Peace Park and in the Glover Garden, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility problems. There is nowhere to exchange money here, preparing Japanese Yen is strongly recommended. The order of the itinerary may vary. You are advised to bring a sunhat, sunglasses and bottled water.
