What we will do

In the morning, from pier you will drive to Nara by motorcoach, visiting Todaiji Temple which is famous for the great image of Buddha, a symbol of Nara and the temple buiding itself is the largest exsiting wooden structure in the world. Then, you will further drive to Kyoto by motorcoach. Upon arrival at Kyoto, you will have your lunch in the city restaurant. After lunch, you will begin the sightseeing tour of Kyoto, visiting Heian Shrine which is a famous structure dedicated to Emperor Kammu, the founder of Kyoto, and the Emperor Komei, the last emperor in Kyoto. Following visit will take place at the local Nishiki market. Your last visit is Kiyomizu Temple, it is desighnated a National treasure and the main hall was constructed in the 17th century and is famous for its location overhanging a cliff. After the full day sightseeing, you will be transferred back to pier by motorcoach.

What you need to know

Please note: The visit to the Kinkakuji Temple involves in climbing 30 steps. This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility problems. When visiting the temple shoes should be removed and socks should be worn. There's no place for exchanging money, preparing Japanese Yen is truly recommended. The order of the itinerary may vary. A sunhat, sunglasses and bottled water are recommended. Space is limited, so please reserve early. Suitable clothing is recommended for entrance to places of worship. The visit to the Kiyomizu tera Temple involves in climbing several steps.
