After you leave the pier, you will visit the one of world heritage in Korea recognized by UNESCO which call Seongsan Ilchulbong Sun rise peak. This place was originally a volcanic mountain island, but as sand and gravel began to gather between the island and the mainland, they became connected. Scaling up a steep slope, winds a trail that takes you up to the western edge of the crater. Many people climb the crater before sunrise to see the sun rise over the horizon. The next stop you will head to the traditional folk village preserves the characteristics of ancient common homes that were found in Jeju. The entire area is protected to ensure preservation of Jeju's past, and numerous non-tangible cultural assets such as folk songs, folk games, food, crafts, and the local dialect are also passed on here. The last stop for the tour will be Yongduam Rock. Yongduam was created by strong winds and waves over thousands of years. However, there are plenty of other stories of how it came to be. One legend has it that a dragon stealing precious jade from Mt. Halla was shot down by an arrow from the mountain deity. When he fell down on Yongduam, his body immediately sank into the ocean and his head rapidly froze looking at the sky.
